well, i still like her but im not obsessed w/ her anymore. i guess you could say im obsessed w/ martina. plus martina makes more sense. She is more of a roll model for me than Nancy was. I still think Nancy is the best actress tho. That makes me wanna change my SN. LOL. How do i just change the name like some of yall have done w/out changing all my settings?

I never was obsessed with Nancy. She's cool, but I wasn't obsessed with her.

FOL is gone. The Division is on hiatus. Seasons change. People wake up and start to smell the coffee. Like Jeff said, I guess Ms. McKeon isn't the perfect little goddess like everyone thought she was. She's just another fish in the barrell.

I'm still here also... My sites get over 100 hits a day usually so there is still quite a few fans out there... Which is always a good thing. :)

Actually, I have a question. Why did everyone like Nancy the most? I mean, obviously some liked Nat more etc..but you check out the FOL board and its like 95% Nancy! Yep. I'm the same way with some of my obsessions. I went through my little Tim McGraw period and drove everybody crazy talking about him and now I don't even like him anymore. His music just changed. He used to put out some pretty good songs, now all he does is whine about love and marriage.

I agree with you I never understood what was so great about her, sure she was on a sitcom that many people like, is on a lifetime drama, and she has been in some tv movies, but thats it. I bet eventually Nancy will gain more fans again..once "The Division" starts new episodes..

Anyway, I never went as far to say that I was obsessed with Nancy, just a huge fan. It all started because of her character Jo though. I still watch my FOL tapes when I find the time, and I have recorded every episode of TD from day one, but I will admit, I don't keep up with her or her works nearly as much as I used to. I'm a fan still, just not like I used to be I guess.

I agree with everyone else who said obsessions are unhealthy. They truly are. They alter everything about you, which is scary.

I like Maura Tierney now...although I'm not as obsessed with her as I was at the beginning. She's my fave actress, and I still go to websites, but I'm not "obsessed".

As for GC, I guess I am obsessed. Sort of. I'm really into music now so I guess that's most of the reason.

Except for the Nancy part, I agree with Mossopp, because the whole Avril thing is just like the Nancy thing. In a year, it's going to be this post all over again, but with Avril's name there.

I don't think Im as wishy- washy as I was a year ago. I stick with stuff alot longer now. Ok Im gonna make a statement right now. I will like Martina as much as I like her now 9058698056709 years from now :D . Heck she changed my life after I saw her sing live. I never saw Nancy up close or evn come close to her, so she hasnt changed my life. But like I said, I still think Nancy is a wonderful actress and everything.

That's how I was with Tim. I might've used obsessed in my first post on this topic, but I didn't live my life out for Tim McGraw. I just thought he was cool. I didn't light a candle and call out for Tim in the middle of the night, cuz that just sounds too weird.

I agree with Mossopp too. Avril will be just like Nancy. The ones that like Avril now prob. feel they would never get tired of her. If you said the same thing about Nancy and how Nancy would always rock forever and ever, and now look at it now.

True Nancy fans aren't obsessed and they don't give up on her. I've been a fan for at least 15 years and my whole family knows it. I'm not the type of person who would run up to her and ask for an autograph. If she was doing an appearance maybe but I'd be so nervous. My admiration for Nancy will never fade and it's definately not a fad like most people being into certain rock groups or singers.

Also just because someone doesn't post about Nancy 24/7 doesn't mean they have "moved on" as you guys say it. I certainly didn't join this board to talk about Nancy I joined to talk about all shows I watch.

I just finished watching "Comfort and Joy" on Lifetime starring Nancy. It was very good! I'm not obsessed with her but I consider her a very good actress!:happyface
