Ahh OW! How big is 16? My God..and I thought it hurt when I got my ears pierced. No wait. It did. Sue me, Im a big baby. Had to have them pierced friggan 3 times.

Make sure you put peroxide or something on that infected ear. It will get worse. If you're not sure what to use, the pharmacist will know.

That's what I had to use when my ears got infected. I got my ears pierced when I was about 8 years old and they just kept getting infected. Finally I just took the earrings out. Maybe Neosporin will help a bit???

I'm an expert when it comes to piercing infections. My cartilage piercings get infected all the time. The area around the earrings swells up and turns purple, black and green and it hurts like hell!
My advice to Jinny Girl is if your ear is really bad (I'm talking pus and icky ***** like that) then sqeeze all the crap out of it, clean the area completely with antiseptic solution, then clean the earring with antiseptic and put it back in your ear. It might even be a good idea to put and band aid or something over it while it's healing so more infection doesn't get back in.

well... that sounds painful. Over the summer when my second holes were healing from being bierced I went in the ocean and both ears bgot hideously infected. I had to wash them with handsoap because that was ALL we had, so it got to the point where Id wake up at night because I rolled into my side. It was like... not good.

16 gauge isnt THAT big. Its a lil smaller than a bellybutton ring size (belly rigns are 14 gauge.) but still my ear was already hurting and swollen to begin with so wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
