When Dorthy left, do you think it would've been better, if the three remaining girls would've stayed in their house. Them being in the same enviroment would've kept some of the magic that was lost stay behind. I think it would've made the show do better.

That and a better time slot of course.

If there is one thing I wish would have not happened on GG, it would be Dorothy leaving. They should have stayed together!

Not only should they have stayed in the house, the show should have remained titled "The Golden Girls", stayed on NBC Saturday nights, and Dorothy's sister could have moved in. Too many changes were made and I guess it just didn't work after they all moved over to CBS and retitled the show. I wish Dorothy could have stayed on another couple of years.

Golden Girls should have just been with the three, and then rotated a fourth lady in... or even a guy. Could have been interesting...

Golden Palace wouldn't have worked no matter where it was set, IMO. They needed Dorothy. I haven't seen the show, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't the same without her.

I just choose to forget that Golden Palace ever happened. I liked the way GG ended and we all know it had to end sometime. In my mind Dorothy is living happily with Lucas and the rest of the girls are carrying on like before in that never ending TV Heaven.
