View Full Version : Anyone tired of winter?
MrCleveland 01-21-2026, 09:26 PM This winter is by far one of the coldest that I've encountered...and if I EVER get a screenplay sold...I'm getting a winter house in Arizona...only because my brother wants to see the Cleveland Guardians during spring training.
AMackII 01-21-2026, 10:50 PM Yes, the main thing I’m not looking forward is single digit temps and icy conditions

Terrible! We had NO fall in December. So we've had nearly two months of winter here already, and bitter cold coming this weekend.

OLD MAN WINTER says, "If you think it has been cold so far,
HERE, HOLD MY BEER."
I guess "old man winter" is wanting to celebrated the
anniversary of the 1978 blizzard (Jan 25-27),

just snow , some wind and below ZERO temperatures.
Who says the weather doesn't repeat itself, almost to the day.

stevea 01-25-2026, 11:29 PM TV News can get a little repetitive.
"Stay off the roads." Thanks, we know. Those who go out, aren't watching the news anyway.
Such and such person is out driving in the snow, who would say if they were being candid-- "We really have nothing to add since the last time we were on--we're just on a different highway, where it's snowing too. Oh, and stay off the roads."

Once I’d like to turn on the news and hear “Remember that stuff we told you the last time it snowed? Same things here. And now over to Ricky with a look at sports”

The groundhog saw his shadow today. So if you believe in the meteorological skills of rodents in Pennsylvania, six more weeks of winter.
