When I watched th episode where Ed talks to God I noticed that Chico(Freddie) wasn't near as animated as he was on previous shows.
I just seemed to me that it looked like it took a major effort on his part to even move.
I noticed that and at the time I didn't realize that was his last show. I thought he was in pain>

I have only seen that episode once. I recorded it the last time it was on before TV LAND started showing the Raul episodes. I have not watched it since I recorded it...I can't bring myself to do so.
But I did notice when I recorded it that he seemed preoccupied and distracted. He also looked very tired. It seemed as though he knew that in a few short hours he would no longer be with us.
It makes me wonder what his thoughts were. How sad and tragic that he felt so alone. What a shame for someone who made millions laugh to be so sad inside. I have always heard that if you can make those around you laugh that they won't see how sad you are...and I guess it's true.

I have seen this episode and it is very sad to watch. Just knowing that in a matter of hours a tragedy would occur. He did look very tired. One wonders what his thoughts were. He must have been in turmoil. It is heartbreaking to watch, knowing the incredible pain he was in.
Chicosladyfair, I have heard that saying as well and feel that it is true. I only wish someone had looked deeper and saw that he was heartbroken and confused.
