Beaver wants a canoe, and lobbies Ward for a $25 used one, telling him a new one would be $200. Ward offers to split the cost with him. Richard, eager for a canoe ride, advises Beaver he knows a man who will pay for frogs, 25 cents per amphibian.
Beaver enlists Wally's help in collecting them at Miller's Pond, letting Wally fall in, in the process. Everything goes well in collecting more, and Beaver even gives neighbor boy Chuckie an amusing lesson in frog marriage.
Then Richard kills the deal for Beaver when he drops the news that the frogs will be killed for experiments.
Later, Ward offers to let Beaver wax his car for the money.
How is this episode? Would it work today? Aren't frogs kind of endangered now?
