Found some interesting info on the names, thought I'd tell you. They're more personal than I thought

1. Richie Cunningham was the name of a sweet boy who went to Gary Marshall's church
2. Potsie Weber was the name of a goofball kid who Marshall's wife went to school with
3. The first home that the Marshalls bought in LA was on Arcola Street (hee hee)
4. His car once broke down in Atascedaro, California. That's where Tuscadaro comes from!
5. And like I said before, Chachi is an Italian nickname for Charles in the Bronx where Marshall grew up
6. Fonzie's full name was originally supposed to be Mashacarelli (Marshall's real last name) and his nickname would have been Mash, but the producers throught that it would remind people of the tv show, MASH.

Aren't you happy they didn't call him Mash?

I know Ralph Malph was ctreated for Donny Most, because of his comic ability but was there an early inspriation for Ralph Malph?

According to some lady who apparently dated Donny Most, he wasn't a very funny guy. But on Ralph Malph, doesn't every show need some hilarious scaredy cat? Look at Wonder Years and Growing Pains!

My friend's dad got it from the Happy Days website and told me, but he told me about the Chachi thing earlier cause his nickname is Chach.
