A Doc Martin remake - who would have imagined, over twenty years after the original premiered?

It's a little odd. Martin Clunes, at least, acknowledged that Doc Martin was "influenced" by Northern Exposure. Now it's been sold back into Northern Exposure's territory.

Which was wonderful...until Doc Joel sold out for Hollywood. Ah, Morty.

I like Abigail Spencer as Louisa, but first Doc didn't go tieless until the last episode of the series.

Characters really starting to flesh out, especially Cree
Cicchino as Elaine. As Mark, Josh Segarra pretty much stuck playing a character thick as a brick.

Hello Darkness, My Port Wenn (ep.5)
Martin tries to get a patient back on his meds, resulting in a power outage.
Situations ensue, but wonderfully with a laugh track in this series that has a permanent power outage. Very nice scene with Martin and a boy exploring the night sky
with the boy's telescope.

Eight episodes in, especially looking forward to No.9 - Martin Clunes is in it.

I'm with you - there will be a Season 2!
