View Full Version : Chachi/Chuck ¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 11-16-2002, 03:11 AM Call me dumb, but I wonder why the nicknamed Charles Arcola "Chachi". Could it be because the nickname Chuck was already occupied?!?!? Hmmmm....LOl. I wonder if they came up with Chuck, but had to find something different..what do you think? The episode in which Chachi was called Chuck was when Mr. C convinces him to get a job and he joins that salesperson place and tries to sell Al a large cleaner thingy (doesn't work out) 2. As for why Charles Arcola is called Chachi is because in the Bronx where Garry Marshall grew up, Chachi was an Italian nickname for anyone named Charles. One of my friends' dads was born and lived in the Bronx for a long time. His name is Charles, but everyone calls him Chach. I always wanted to know why and he told me this interesting piece of information.
