I was lucky through connections to attend the filming of the episode "Menage et Lou" in Dec. 1975 with guest stars Penny Marshall, Jeff Conaway and Janis Paige! I remember Penny telling the audience to look out for her new series "Laverne and Shirley"! I also was stunned at how many takes each scene was given and the occasional huddles with the writers/producers switching last-second dialogue. I was there for four(!) hours but was worth it. If only the public knew how much time and care is devoted to a 30 minute show! I did get to meet Mary which was a much-treasured memory for me.
