With an onscreen career spanning more than 50 years, Henry Winkler has no intention of slowing down anytime soon.

The 2x Golden Globe winner noted he “works a lot” and has “several jobs,” including his History Channel series Hazardous History, explaining why he has no plans to retire at 80 years old.

After winning his first Primetime Emmy Award for Barry in 2018, followed by three more nominations for his role on the HBO series, it’s safe to say that Winkler’s onscreen career still has plenty of steam.

He can next be seen in the Ben Wheatley-helmed Normal, starring alongside Bob Odenkirk and Lena Headey, to be released via Magnolia on April 17.

In May 2025, Winkler and writing partner Lynn Oliver also released their 40th children’s book, Detective Duck: The Mystery at Emerald Pond.
