Someone mentioned a while back on this message board about finding CATM on VHS tapes. Well I noticed on the SITCOMS ONLINE
page (which is in bold print at the bottom of each of these message board pages) that
there is a petition for sitcoms that people want to see on DVD. I signed the petition for CATM and I think I was the only one out of 870 some signatures. A lot of other sitcoms were represented though. I don't know how many CATM fans are interested in DVDs but I've been told they last a lot longer and are better quality than VHS tapes.
So, if anyone is interested, maybe you could sign that petition. Just go to the Sitcoms
Online page and scroll down to the middle of the page and double click on where it tells you. JUST A SUGGESTION http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/cool.gif

Good idea but unfortuantely I can't afford a DVD. Maybe they should've had the petition for video tapes. I wish I could afford a DVD machine & then have a DVD of CATM. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

Catcopy18, THANK-YOU for the suggestion and information. I will sign the petition immediately. I do not yet have a DVD player, but will go on and purchase the DVDs of CATM if they become available. That will inspire me to go on and purchase the DVD player. I am happy that we are all keeping Freddie and CATM up front. Thanks again for informing us about the petition.

While looking thru a link posted on one of the other boards on here I found a link to a page listing who owns the rights to the show on DVD. This should help some I hope...

Cheryl, do you mean Chico and The Man? It would be my dream come true to have a set of CATM DVDs!!! I would buy 2 sets, no matter how much they cost, because I would totally wear out the first set and probably drool all over them!!! :lol:

Yep,on that site it listed who owns the rights to the dvd for the show...

If they are on DVD I know what i am going to buy this weekend holiday or no. LOL

I don't think it's on DVD yet. I think the site is just listing who owns the right to putting it on DVD. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me...

I hope they do put it on DVD,or VHS

Hello to all the new people posting on this great board. I am so excited that you have all discovered Freddie Prinze and all the great talent he gave us for the short time he was here. You will not find another board that has such a group of wonderful fans as here. Please keep posting..we want Freddie's memory to live on forever. I agree with all of you. CATM on DVD..what a dream come true. Even better...how about all the outtakes as well???
