View Full Version : Season 1 Discussion TVFactFan 01-01-2026, 03:13 PM Julie was so over the top for a opening episode:lol: opus 01-01-2026, 04:45 PM Yup, today’s the day. Good luck with AntennaTV. TVFactFan 01-01-2026, 05:28 PM Yup, today’s the day. Good luck with AntennaTV. I been letting it run all day on the lap top so I can get ready for 8pm. Hopefully no issues Bonniegirl 01-01-2026, 05:41 PM I thought it was the 8th for some reason but I see the new schedule starts today. I was thinking it started on the 5th, Monday. Because usually TV schedule changes start at the beginning of the week. Very cool it starts today . Glad Opus reminded me or I'd be waiting till Monday. TVFactFan 01-01-2026, 06:01 PM I was thinking it started on the 5th, Monday. TVFactFan 01-02-2026, 05:36 PM It’s a good scene though…. “You got drunk and picked up” “Everyone says divorcees are hot to trot” Julie and Barbara nail Ann good. so the tag scene is always in the closing credits without us being able to hear it? Bonniegirl 01-02-2026, 06:55 PM In Chicago rendezvous Schneider threatening the cab driver at the end for beeping the horn . Poor cab driver going there wasting his time and Ann not even going out to the cab saying " Sorry I don't need a cab after all".or Schneider could have just waved the cab driver off, not yell at him for beeping the horn! TVFactFan 01-02-2026, 07:04 PM In Chicago rendezvous Schneider threatening the cab driver at the end for beeping the horn . Poor cab driver going there wasting his time and Ann not even going out to the cab saying " Sorry I don't need a cab after all".or Schneider could have just waved the cab driver off, not yell at him for beeping the horn! I know what the hell did the cab driver do wrong:lol: And I wanted to see her interaction with the girls when she decided to come back but it was shown during the closing credits opus 01-02-2026, 07:58 PM so the tag scene is always in the closing credits without us being able to hear it? In the very early days they had a dialogueless tag scene continuing the story in the closing credits music, but that eventually disappears and for the rest of the series no tag scenes. Clips from the episode play over the closing credits. By the way, it looks like ODAAT is complete on Tubi again opus 01-02-2026, 07:58 PM In Chicago rendezvous Schneider threatening the cab driver at the end for beeping the horn . When was the last time it was complete on Tubi? DJM77 01-02-2026, 09:12 PM Julie was so over the top for a opening episode:lol: That was mild compared to how she was in the original pilot! It used to be on YouTube, but I can't find it there now. It was called "Three To Get Ready" and Valerie Bertinelli wasn't in it. opus 01-02-2026, 10:00 PM Looks like 3 maybe missing from season 5 and 7. Can you confirm? It’s tricky to tell. They might be all there but mixed up. Like for example Tubi has the ‘Airport’ episode in season 6 but the box set has it in season 7. When was the last time it was complete on Tubi? I’m not sure. Maybe DJM77 can answer that one. opus 01-02-2026, 10:02 PM That was mild compared to how she was in the original pilot! It used to be on YouTube, but I can't find it there now. It was called "Three To Get Ready" I still remember the night I posted it here. It was so exciting. and Valerie Bertinelli wasn't in it. Thank God Norman Lear came to his senses :) TVFactFan 01-02-2026, 10:09 PM That was mild compared to how she was in the original pilot! It used to be on YouTube, but I can't find it there now. It's been complete on there for a while now. It was supposed to leave there at the beginning of the year, but it must have gotten extended because I see that it's still there. TVFactFan 01-07-2026, 01:55 AM Do we see Schneider's apt again after episode "Super Blues"? Also in the episode "All the way" it looked like Mckenzie Phillips and Bonnie Franklin was trying not to break character when they were sitting on the sofa talking serious about sex DJM77 01-07-2026, 09:08 PM Do we see Schneider's apt again after episode "Super Blues"? Yes. Quite a few times. Also in the episode "All the way" it looked like Mckenzie Phillips and Bonnie Franklin was trying not to break character when they were sitting on the sofa talking serious about sex Schneider's apt looks like Mel's apt on Alice. Maybe it's the same set. Both shows were on CBS. Is it just me or do you guys think the apts.are alot alike? Bonniegirl 01-08-2026, 01:32 AM Yes. Quite a few times. The funniest was in Schneider the model when he and Max got really drunk together in Schneider's apt. :D TVFactFan 01-09-2026, 11:49 AM Schneider's apt looks like Mel's apt on Alice. Yeah it sure did and probably because it was CBS shows TVFactFan 01-09-2026, 11:52 AM Why would Julie wanna work in that dirty a$$$ truck stop:lol: I noticed this show and Good times had similar situations during 75-76 tv season. Like Ann doing the Hustle with Julie's Date lol TVFactFan 01-09-2026, 11:54 AM Yes. That was a fun episode. Did Ann and David become a couple after that episode once she went up to his apt after the show went off? opus 01-09-2026, 03:18 PM Did Ann and David become a couple after that episode once she went up to his apt after the show went off? Well, early season 2 she does reluctantly accept his marriage proposal. But…… opus 01-09-2026, 03:33 PM Why would Julie wanna work in that dirty a$$$ truck stop:lol: Suzanne Somers reunion. They were both in the movie American Graffiti. TVFactFan 01-09-2026, 05:00 PM Well, early season 2 she does reluctantly accept his marriage proposal. Yeah that was a good one with the kids splashing David with Beer. lol Bonniegirl 01-13-2026, 07:22 AM Very good 4 parter that started earlier today. Julie runs away. Really good episodes ! Good start for Season 2! TVFactFan 01-13-2026, 11:22 AM Very good 4 parter that started earlier today. Julie runs away. Really good episodes ! Good start for Season 2! I started the season 2 thread talking about wacko chuck lol Bonniegirl 05-28-2026, 10:46 PM I noticed a discrepancy in one of tonight's episodes. Schneider said he had been divorced for 10 years. It was 1976 , so that would mean he was divorced in 1966. So in Season 3, Schneider's kid episode they didn't keep up with the divorced 10 years, (by that time it would be about 12 years) because Schneider's Son wasn't 12 years old. So he was divorced alot longer than 10 years. TVFactFan 05-28-2026, 11:56 PM I noticed a discrepancy in one of tonight's episodes. Schneider said he had been divorced for 10 years. I guess they changed that real quick cause it would be really creepy for a married man to always be barging into an apt. Of a divorced woman with 2 teenage Daughters . Bad enough a single man doing that. opus 05-29-2026, 06:58 PM Yeah. :D And in the very first episode Schneider was supposed to be married. I guess they changed that real quick cause it would be really creepy for a married man to always be barging into an apt. Of a divorced woman with 2 teenage Daughters . Bad enough a single man doing that. Schneider went from sleazeball to loving caring (albeit occasionally annoying) close family friend. And even though all the whining about the passkey bit still exists, Ann could have stopped that any time she wanted, so l lay the blame for that one on her. Plus the door also had a chain lock if needed. TVFactFan 05-29-2026, 08:19 PM Yeah. :D And in the very first episode Schneider was supposed to be married. Bonniegirl 06-02-2026, 11:17 PM The other day rewatched David cheating with Denny ( the new hot neighbor lady who disappeared after that one episode), Julie's job, with Suzanne Somers guest starring.
