I seen the episodes today on TV LAND with the return of Richie and Ralph and just wanted to know how many people like Richie with or without the mustache? I personally think the mustache made him look 37 years old

I personally have been in love with Richie Cunningham for about 10 years...and that's 2/3's of my life. However, I am in love with the Richie Cunningham of the pre-Lori Beth days. So no mouch!

Sorry everyone, but Richie had to grow up. Part of getting up often involves getting married and having kids. As for the moustache, Richie wanted to show everyone that he was a man; that's why he grew it.

I think Richie's mustache didn't match his voice. That's why he should have never had it.

I liked the "No moustachioed look" better.

Oh, I was so routing for Marion in her plight to convince Richie to shave his 'stache! And when he was standing there at the mirror, with scissors in hand, I was all..."Do it! Do it! Pllleeeeeaasssee get that thing off your face!!" Part of Richie's charm was that cute, American Pie, innocent face. Though, I can see the point that the 'stache represented a new era for little Richie Cunningham who returned home all grown up.

And personally, for the first time in the entire duration of the show, I had a crush on Ralph in this episode. I thought he REALLY grew up well. ;) :eyes:

I have to admit that last scene with Fonzie and Richie was very emotional. The Fonz told Richie that he loved him very much and maintained his cool at the same time. I love that final scene. But that tag scene with Fonzie and Potsie was GOOFY. I had to know that any scene with Potsie would be goofy that's why i taped over it.

I totally agree about the scene with Fonzie and Richie being fab-a-mundo (and how about when, in the bar, Richie says, "Why don't you leave-a-muno?!" and Fonzie says that he hasn't said..."-amundo" in a very long time!) I would love to get my hands on that letter!!! That would be a cool fanfic piece to write the actual letter given to Fonzie from Richie.

I actually liked the last scene. I think this was Potsie's way of saying, "The gang isn't here together any more, but we still have the memories." Remember how the band would always play at Arnold's and, of course, Fonzie would be right there routing them on. The audience got to hear the last survivors of the HD gang singing their final song together.

I'm not sure that made sense--

The scene I'm referring to when I started the sentence was the farewell scene where Richie and Fonzie say their goodbyes.

I brought up the "-amundo" speech when I described the scene as fabamundo.

Then, I returned to describing the farewell scene and say I'd love to read the letter.

I actually started to sniffle when I saw that last part because it definately represents that and I can't bear to think of people gowing up and growing apart because I'll be doing that soon and I want to stay with the people I've grown up with.
