A Honeymooners New Years Eve:

(Ralph & Ed are setting up the computer for the ball to drop on New Years Eve in Brooklyn.)

Ralph: “Norton, I got a great deal off the street from a street urchin. He sold this system to me for $5. Alice thought I was stupid for doing sonething like that. She doesn’t know how to handle money.”

Ed: “She never had any practice.”

Ralph: “Oooh, you are a riot Norton. But I tell you this thing is so simple a child can do it.”

Ed: “We will be famous.”

Ralph: “I can’t wait to see the look on Alice’s face when I prove her wrong with this system. I always prove her wrong.”

(On New Year’s Eve, Alice, Trixie and Alice’s parents are on the street. Everyone is waiting for the ball to drop.)

Alice’s Mom: “My loser of a son-in-law may be doing something stupid with that system he bought off the street.”

Alice: “If he did, the best we can do is stand back and watch him fail.”

(It’s 11:59:50. The ball is dropping.)

All (yell): “10…9…8…7…”

(The ball is stuck due to the bad computer system.)

Ralph: “Huminahumina. The ball is stuck. Let’s shake it.”

(They do and the ball falls down on to a cop car just after 11:59:59.)

(To be continued.)
