A I Love Lucy XMas:

(With the Ricardos’ chimney still clogged, it’s implied that Santa and his reindeer have arrived.)

Ricky: “Oh no.”

Lucy: “Boys, me and Ethel will go get the ladder.”

Fred: “I better come with you.”

Ricky: “Ok hurry.”

(They go outside to get the ladder.)

Fred: “Lucy, you better climb the ladder. I’m afraid of heights now and I think that the ladder will break if Ethel climbs it.”

Ethel (disgusted): “Oh Fred!”

(Lucy climbs the ladder.)

(She arrives on top. She sees nothing. She starts crying.)

Ethel (yells): “LUCY, WHAT HAPPENED?”

Lucy (crying, yells): “SANTA LEFT WITHOUT ANY GOODIES. I WILL NEVER GET THAT SPANISH TO ENGLISH TRANSLATER SO I CAN UNDERSTAND RICKY WHEN HE TALKS TO ME.”

(They go inside and see presents.)

Ricky: “Merry Christmas!”

Lucy: “What?”

Ricky: “I’ll ‘splain. Santa jumped up and down and used his weight to unjam the chimney.”

(All are relieved.)

All: “Merry Christmas!”

(All stare at the camera.)

All: “Merry Christmas everyone.”
