Future News:
Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie are slated to join TV Land in June and Mr. Ed is expected to comeback as well next fall, 2003.

Mr. Ed? You gotta be (censored) me!! I thought they lost the rights to it in 1998? I also like the idea of TV Land bringing MacGyver to the line-up, too.

It's re-acquired.

I was wondering what the new drama was going to be, now I finally know what it is, LOL.

I'm glad TV Land will be bringing Mister Ed back, and some of the other shows they used to air in the past, I'm definately looking foward to all these new shows returning, it seems like TV Land has a lot planned for us in the future.

So Bewitched and IDOJ aren't coming til June......................does this mean that Hallmark is keeping them til then or are they still leaving at the end of the year?

Pavanbadal said a while ago (I can't remember when) that the rights for Hallmark to air Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie expired in January 2003. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks, I wasn't too sure about that. Do you know what other shows they are bringing in to fill in the time slots? I know they're bringing Mork and Mindy soon, but are there any other shows that they might be picking up? Thanks again if you have any info.

Yes! Yes! YES! I'm soooo happy Mr. Ed is coming back!!! I can't wait!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :D :D :D

I remember back in the AOL days of Nick at Nite & TV Land posting on The Milkman's Message Board (remember that???) and he said that Mr. Ed would be back on TV Land someday. I'm glad that day is finally in sight!

I LOVE TV LAND! I am so thrilled they're bringing us such good shows such as "Mister Ed", "Bewitched", "MacGyver", "Sanford & Son", "Happy Days" to name a few. I haven't seen "Mister Ed" in a long time . . . as in like when it was on Nick at Nite. I can't wait to see it again as well as "MacGyver"! I guess my VCR will be recording A LOT next year.

I'm dying to see Bewitched, I haven't seen it since like September 2000 or once or twice when TV Land aired it in 2000. I don't get Hallmark Channel, so that's the reason why.

I am looking forward to seeing Sanford & Son and Mr. Ed! Not as enthusiastic about MacGyver, but you take the good, you take the bad. The one thing with IDOJ and Bewitched I'm looking forward to is seeing their earlier seasons back in B&W.

I wish they'd get some shows that were more rare instead of the overplayed Bewitched....

A shameless bump for those who haven't see this yet, but I agree with everything you said Sean. I ended up watching Bewitched and IDOJ quite a bit when I finally got Hallmark channel, but the things I missed were the B&W episodes. Those are probably the only ones I may watch on TVL. I'm a little tired of IDOJ and Bewitched right now, but I can't wait for Sanford and Son to come back. MacGyver, eh, I could live without it. Not very excited about that one, at all. So many others could have been picked up instead; the only reason it was probably picked up was because it left WGN earlier this year.

Petticoat and Acres are the two Hooterville shows that do need to resurface ASAP!

ITA. Even though I'm sick to death of Beverly Hillbillies, these are two shows I would love to see again. I think Hallmark would be better for Petticoat, seeing it's a Paramount show, which Hallmark has access to, and of course because it would be paired well with Beverly Hillbillies.
