Does anybody remember when Paul Reubens played a character named Pee Wee Herman in the 80s and early 90s? I remember when I was little I used to love watching Pee Wee's Big Adventure. My sitter wouldn't let me watch it because he was a poor role model and he was being naughty in an adult movie theater. That was what put an end to his character. Anybody have any opinions about him? If so state them. I'd love to hear them.

I used to be SO addicted to Pee Wee. I watched his Christmas special a million times and I even had this doll where you'd pull that string on the back and it talked. But a few years ago I got this phobia of the doll and always made my mom hide it in her closet...but Pee Wee still rocks!

Whatever happened to his game show? What was the name of that show? Oh yeah, 'You Don't Know Jack'. I thought he was okay on that.

So Pee-Wee got a little naughty in a porno movie theater. Go figure. Those rednecks didn't have to drag him through the movie to shame him. They could have kept it quiet and not humiliate him half to death. It wasn't like a celebrity (let alone a kid's show type) hasn't done anything they're not proud of. I was in L.A. when the story broke in 1991. I heard they trashed his star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Like declare open season on ALL stars and actors who blew it....:rolleyes: I didn't see much of his show, but he was a hoot. I liked Pee-Wee's Big Adventure.:D

Well, I'm trying to think of a way to post this as modestly as possible. I don't think I can, so here goes. He did the naughty in the movie theater, which was kind of dumb. I mean if the urge was that bad, he could've went into the bathroom or something. Same with George Michael. Didn't he get caught in a similar situation? Look at his career now. I don't think he's had a big hit since that happened.

I was a big fan of Pee Wee Herman, his Sat. morning show and his original HBO Special "The Pee Wee Herman Show" were great.
I was willing to forgive him when he got busted for that Florida thing, but yesterday he turned himself in on kiddie porn charges...

The thing is these people should know. Well, all people should know but especially celebs. Normal people could most likely have it behind closed doors for quite awhile. If you are or were a popular celeb, people nose around you more. Nothing stays behind closed doors when you are famous. Nothing. It just seems to me like that would make them kind of avoid all the dangerous stuff. If I was a celeb, I wouldn't be seen out partying and doing some drugs. All it takes is one simple little pic to get in the tabloids and then you're screwed forever. It's true. One screw up and your career is over. Anybody remember Corey Haim from the 80s movies? He was so big in the 80s. Geez, him and Corey Feldman were the two biggies. Both kind of got into some drug problems (Corey Feldman is clean now, I think) but Corey Haim is still screwed up. I remember on the E! THS thing they said he had a relapse in 99. He could be clean now, but the point is that his career is history.
