As part of their holiday tradition, on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, CHCH will feature holiday episodes from their retro series all morning and afternoon. Unfortunately, this means that they will feature only episodes from their current retro lineup, so expect plenty of Matlock and All In The Family and anything else they can fit in for those 2 days. The full schedule is as follows:

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 24 - CHRISTMAS EVE

10:00 AM Matlock - "Santa Claus"
11:00 Matlock - "The Gift"
12:00 PM The Six Million Dollar Man - "A Bionic Christmas Carol"
1:00 Knight Rider - "Silent Knight"
2:00 Laverne & Shirley - "Oh Hear The Angels' Voices"
2:30 Charles In Charge - "Home For The Holidays"
3:00 Coach - "Christmas Brains"
3:30 Coach - "My True Love Gave To Me"
4:00 All In The Family - "Christmas Day At The Bunkers"
4:30 All In The Family - "Edith's Christmas Story"
5:00 All In The Family - "The Draft Dodger"

THURSDAY DECEMBER 25 - CHRISTMAS DAY

10:00 AM Matlock - "The Scrooge"
11:00 Laverne & Shirley - "Oh Come All Ye Bums"
11:30 Laverne & Shirley - "Candy Is Dandy"
12:00 PM "The Bells Of St. Mary's" - starring Bing Crosby
2:30 Charles In Charge - "Yule Laff"
3:00 Coach - "Christmas Of The Van Damned"
3:30 Coach - "You Win Some, You Lose Some"
4:00 All In The Family - "Edith's Crisis Of Faith - Part 1"
4:30 All In The Family - "Edith's Crisis Of Faith - Part 2"
5:00 All In The Family - "The Bunkers Go West"

This schedule just looks awful to me. It's just pure laziness with no sense of creativity at all. They could have at least found a few other shows to stick in just to break the monotony. I'm really unimpressed by the whole thing.

I guess they've used up runs on all the other shows they have/had access to. If they skipped Christmas episodes on some of them they may still have the rights to those particular episodes - but I guess not.

Some of them are neat - I haven't seen the "Six Million Dollar Man" episode in a long time.

Too bad they're finishing off with "The Bunkers Go West" episode of "All in the Family". There's two more episodes in that story arc where they visit Mike & Gloria in California, which looks like they aren't going to be aired.

Oh well...at least they tried!

It looks like they don't have enough Christmas episodes with this current lineup.

In the past, they would have Christmas episodes from shows not currently being shown.

I'm not suprised that the Rockford Files or the A Team would not have Christmas episodes, but it is surprise that it looks like Leave it to Beaver did not have Christmas episodes.
