I recently finished reading the biography of Freddie Prinze Jr. In it it refers a few times about how FP Jr is very selective in the roles he chooses.
In one of the newer issues of teen magazine.
(I saw Jr on tyhe cover and hoped there would be a picture of Sr.-there was!) Anyway
in teen it said something to the effect that Jr wants to selective in the roles he chooses because he wants to be clear headed and do roles because he wants too9this was in his bio I guess sorry) he doesn't want to become a piece of merchandise and get in too deep like his dad who rose to fame to fast and couldn't handle it.
That's the impression I got from the interview. One thing that puzzles me about Jr being so selective is if that's the case, why would he for his first role on family matters play a student who brings a gun to school?
I would think he would want to stay as far away from guns for as long as he could.
And if the makers of the show know or ever knew anything at all about Freddie Jrs dad
you wouldn't think they would have cast him for that particular part.
I don't mean to be judgemental it just seems odd to me. I don't know how he could play the part without thinking about that.
Did any of you see that Family matters show?
I didn;t but I will be watching for it. Jr. must be some actor to be able to play that part.
I've babbled enough-bye

I think Freddie Jr. started with any role that came along because he was trying to establish himself as an actor. Now that he's more established he can pick and choose.

Well there is a very good chance that he will get the lead role as Batman in the new movie that will be about the first year of crime fighting for the then young caped crusader...

Ok. To my opinion I think that Freddie jr has grown higher as an actor- (BUT!!) He was doing ok untill he decided he wanted to take the part of Fred on the scooby doo movie?!?. He's good as an sexy serious comedy actor. Why go back? (sorry is that does not agree with some of you)
