View Full Version : Antenna TV 2026 Schedule
Marcus2026 12-08-2025, 11:48 AM As announced before, Antenna TV will re-acquire Sanford and Son and One Day at a Time beginning on New Year's Day.
Now, here's the rest of the schedule, and there are a lot of changes here, so buckle up!
First, Three's Company will remain at 5am ET, but will move to a new time later in the day, then at 6am ET will now be The Jeffersons, followed by the recently re-added Sanford and Son at 7am ET, meaning that The Burns and Allen Show and The Jack Benny Program are officially gone from the network. Jack Benny is gone for good, but in Burns and Allen's case, it'll move to... sister network Rewind TV?! OK then.
Then at 8am ET, it's Barney Miller, replacing McHale's Navy, which is also off the lineup, then The Partridge Family back on the weekday schedule at 9am ET, replacing Father Knows Best, which will be off the lineup as well, then Hazel will move to 10am ET to replace Dennis the Menace, which will be off the lineup too, then I Dream of Jeannie will move to 11am ET, now preceding Bewitched instead of following it, and speaking of Bewitched, it'll remain at 12pm ET, then Maude rejoins the weekday lineup, airing at 1pm ET, then Alice moves to a new time now airing at 2pm ET, with The Facts of Life now airing at 3pm ET, then Too Close for Comfort rejoins the weekday lineup at 4pm ET, moving Three's Company to 6pm ET following Family Ties, which will remain airing at 5pm ET.
Barney Miller will move to a new time too, now airing at 7pm ET, followed by the recently re-added One Day at a Time at 8pm ET, replacing The Jeffersons 2-hour block from 7pm-9pm ET, and speaking of The Jeffersons, it'll now air for one hour at 9pm ET followed by Sanford and Son at 10pm ET.
Johnny Carson would be next, remaining airing at 11pm ET, then Becker moves back to 12am ET after airing at 10pm ET since February, followed by Wings now airing at 1am ET to replace The Drew Carey Show, followed by Mad About You now back on Antenna TV, airing at 2am ET, then at 3am ET, it's Designing Women, making its return to Antenna after moving back to sister network Rewind in May, which will continue to air there, and finishing off the weekday schedule is 227, which will now air at 4am ET after airing at 6pm ET since May. Those will replace the encore airings of Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie and Alice, respectively.
And that was just the weekday schedule. I haven't even gotten to the weekend schedule yet.
Anyway, for the Saturday schedule, Sabrina the Teenage Witch makes its return to Antenna since it moved to Rewind when it launched. It'll start the lineup and will air from 5am-7am ET to replace Father Knows Best and Burns and Allen, then Mork & Mindy returns to Antenna since being removed back in May, airing from 7am-9am ET to replace Jack Benny and McHale's Navy.
After E/I programming at 9am ET, at 10am ET, replacing Bachelor Father, which is off the lineup completely, will be the Three's Company spinoffs, The Ropers and Three's a Crowd, followed by its parent show now airing on Saturdays at 11am ET to replace My Favorite Martian, which it too, is off the lineup altogether, then Alice now airs at 12pm ET, followed by Barney Miller now airing at 1pm ET to replace Silver Spoons, which is off the lineup completely too, followed by The Jeffersons now airing at 2pm ET to replace Too Close for Comfort there.
Afterwards, its Sanford and Son at 3pm ET followed by One Day at a Time at 4pm ET to replace the 2-hour block of The Jeffersons there, then Archie Bunker's Place now airs at 5pm ET to replace Benson, Maude would follow now airing at 6pm ET, then The Partridge Family would air next now airing at 7pm ET, then Hazel now airing Saturdays at 8pm ET, followed by I Dream of Jeannie back on Saturdays now at 9pm ET and Bewitched back on Saturdays at 10pm ET to replace 227 there, giving those 3 shows the chance to air on the weekends again.
Johnny Carson will still air at 11pm ET on Saturdays as well, airing the 90-minute episodes, then it's Three's Company again at 12:30am & 1am ET, followed by The Ropers at 1:30am ET and Three's a Crowd at 2am ET, then at 2:30am ET, it's The Ted Knight Show (the continuation/final season of TCFC), and finishing off the night from 3am-5am ET, it's The Benny Hill Show, meaning that Soap and Benson will no longer air on the overnight slots.
Finally, on Sunday, it's the Super Duper Sunday block, featuring 2 hour blocks of your favorite classic shows, starting with My Two Dads, making its return to Antenna since it moved to Rewind when it launched, from 5am-7am ET to replace Father Knows Best and Burns and Allen there, followed by The Facts of Life now airing for 2 hours on Sundays from 7am-9am ET to replace Jack Benny and McHale's Navy there, then Too Close for Comfort will now air for 2 hours on Sundays from 9am-11am ET to replace Dennis the Menace and Bachelor Father, Soap would follow now airing from 11am-1pm ET to replace My Favorite Martian and The Partridge Family there, followed by Benson now from 1pm-3pm ET to replace Silver Spoons and Too Close for Comfort there, then from 3pm-5pm ET, it's 227, followed by Head of the Class making its return to Antenna since Rewind's launch, airing from 5pm-7pm ET to replace Maude there, then we have another show that makes its return to Antenna since moving to Rewind, Who's the Boss?, airing from 7pm-9pm ET to replace Archie Bunker's Place there.
Family Ties will remain airing from 9pm-11pm ET, then The Drew Carey Show will now air from 11pm-1am ET to replace Wings, followed by NewsRadio returning to Antenna, airing from 1am-3am ET to replace Becker, and to finish off the night, replacing Dear John is Just Shoot Me!, airing from 3am-5am ET.
To recap the shows that will leave the network, they are The Burns and Allen Show (which as mentioned earlier will move to sister network Rewind), The Jack Benny Program, McHale's Navy, Father Knows Best, Dennis the Menace, Bachelor Father, My Favorite Martian, Silver Spoons and Dear John.
As for the "new" additions, they are Sanford and Son, One Day at a Time, Mad About You, Designing Women, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Mork & Mindy, The Ropers, Three's a Crowd, The Ted Knight Show aka the final season of TCFC, Head of the Class, Who's the Boss?, NewsRadio and Just Shoot Me!, thus begins a new era of Antenna TV now mainly focusing on sitcoms from the 1970s to the early 2000s, with a few 1960s sitcoms still in the mix [i.e. Hazel, Bewitched and Jeannie] and none from the 1950s like Burns and Allen, Jack Benny and Father Knows Best.
Merry24 12-08-2025, 01:23 PM Wow!!! Wow!!! Wow!!! Lots to digest. Burns and Allen move to Rewind interesting. They should have put Mchale’s there. Let Burns And Allen go.
I know it was time but Shows that launched the Network gone. Father Knows Best Dennis the Menace Bachelor Father. Bachelor Father was treated terribly.Basically black and white are off antenna tv!!! Hope some of those programs end up on Catchy Comedy or Me TV!
Hazel Bewitched and Jeannie go Find Me or Me+ Catchy Comedy!
Lastly who ever will pick up Jack Benny & possibly Burns and Allen in the future hope we can see there Christmas episodes as antenna tv didn’t.
Programs like Jack Benny & Father Knows Best & Dennis the Menace & Bachelor Father & My Favorite Martian did antenna tv/rewind tv loose rights-let them go or are they resting-Hiatus???
Glad to see they brought Hazel & Jeannie & Bewitched back to Saturday Nights!! I wonder if they will show them in black and white or just color episodes.
Finally just Wow! antenna tv, tv that is not what it used to be
Marcus thanks for all your updates!!! We appreciate it!!!!
icecream 12-08-2025, 02:37 PM Makes me angry they STILL won't air The John Laroquette Show. That would have been a lot better choice for Sunday nights at 11:00, I have no interest in good for nothing The Drew Carey Show. :barf: But it is great Head of the Class is returning. Sabrina the Teenage Witch would have fit a lot better with Bewitched at 1PM weekdays than icky Maude. For all the naysayers who say Family Ties has done poorly in syndication, it continues to shine on Antenna TV. Sad to see Bachelor Father and The Jack Benny Program gone, but not surprising with their horrendous treatment.
LittleRoom02 12-08-2025, 03:06 PM Why is Newsradio listed as a new show when it aired on Antenna TV when the channel first debuted?
icecream 12-08-2025, 03:10 PM Why is Newsradio listed as a new show when it aired on Antenna TV when the channel first debuted? They don't distinguish between new and returning on the schedule grid.
Merry24 12-08-2025, 03:19 PM They also thought Jeannie has a Christmas episode even though they don’t know the difference between Jeannie and Bewitched.
icecream 12-08-2025, 04:06 PM A lot of shows must be expiring at the end of 2025, since the new schedule starts on January 1st and not the following Monday.
BigManMike 12-08-2025, 04:29 PM And what is the Ted Knight Show? That seems odd. I know the last season of Too Close for Comfort was called The Ted Knight Show when it first aired, and it was supposed to have more seasons, but when Ted Knight died suddenly, they changed the title of that season back to Too Close for Comfort and bundled it with the original series. So I wonder if this means Antenna got different prints that have that title now?
BigManMike 12-08-2025, 04:32 PM Between Antenna and Rewind, I’m disappointed to see they still have Archie Bunker’s Place, The Jeffersons, The Facts of Life, 227, and Who’s the Boss. I was hoping they would go to Catchy so the credits wouldn’t be crunched. But with Jack Benny, Dennis the Menace, and Diff’rent Strokes leaving, I hope some of those will end up up on Catchy. What’s really strange is them shifting Burns and Allen over to Rewind. It doesn’t belong there at all.

There was a Ted Knight Show in 1978 but it only lasted a season and 6 episodes.

Out of the whole schedule this show is the only one that interest me just out of curiosity. Antenna TV has shown short lived shows in the past, The Paul Lynde Show, Lotsa Luck, It's About Time, My Mother the Car.
Otherwise this schedule is crap. So glad for free streaming especially Tubi.

I miss when they would show short lived shows like Lotsa Luck and Good Morning World on Saturday nights.

I think what's happened is that Antenna TV and Rewind have simply decided to change lineups. What was once on Antenna is now on Rewind and vice versa. I think this is good because the lineups overall were getting stale and needed a good shake-up. It's nice to see more 50s/60s shows on Rewind since it was stuck in the 90s for the longest time. So now you'll be able to Rewind for a lot longer.
I am just thrilled and overjoyed that the Partridge Family will now be on every day instead of just on weekends, except that 9 am seems a little too early for me because I like to sleep in. It was better at 11 am before that stupid Hazel arrived. That show ruins the whole morning lineup. It should have been gone by now.
stevea 12-21-2025, 07:27 AM Antenna TV did a big shakeup 4 or 5 years ago, but chickened out and reverted. We'll see if this one lasts.
24/7 reruns 12-21-2025, 10:06 AM The changes on Antenna TV reminds me of when our local Oldies radio station started to drop decades of music for more current ones. There were many who didn't like the dropping of '50's and '60's from that station.
I wish that any of the retro channels had their own streaming service to run shows they have but don't run on their channel. BTW, what happened to the MeTV Toons streaming service?
Merry24 12-21-2025, 12:22 PM See I find that odd because why would antenna tv & radio stations do this considering most young viewers don’t watch the over the air Channels or listen to the radio. The practice is so old school and that’s why viewers no longer tune in.
Marcus2026 12-23-2025, 01:57 PM And what is the Ted Knight Show? That seems odd. I know the last season of Too Close for Comfort was called The Ted Knight Show when it first aired, and it was supposed to have more seasons, but when Ted Knight died suddenly, they changed the title of that season back to Too Close for Comfort and bundled it with the original series. I doubt they would, so it's most likely the same prints as before, just now they have an excuse to split the first 5 seasons and the final season renamed to The Ted Knight Show.
Merry24 12-23-2025, 02:13 PM The blog says some shows expired while other are resting. Can anybody say what shows are resting and what shows expired off antenna tv? Thank you.
Marcus2026 12-23-2025, 05:58 PM We probably won't know for sure what expired until we see if any shows that left pops back on the schedule in the future.
Alan Brady's Hair 12-24-2025, 07:50 AM Hazel's pretty amazing, actually expanding its airings into the weekend.
networkman 12-24-2025, 11:10 AM I love that Rules Of Engagement will air on Rewind TV. Not thrilled about it sharing many of the same programs with Antenna TV. I was hoping Mr. Belvedere would have been picked up by Antenna.
Alan Brady's Hair 12-25-2025, 12:07 AM Just checked Hazel, Jeannie, Bewitched, Barney Miller, Partridge Family, Maude, Three's Company: it looks like they're not just showing premieres on New Year's Day, they're starting each series again and then continuing on through Season 1?
Marcus2026 12-25-2025, 01:33 AM Now that is literally a Fresh Start.
Sister network Rewind is doing the same thing as well.

And it looks like the evening Barney Miller, Jeffersons, Sanford episodes are repeats of the morning episodes.
stevea 12-28-2025, 03:43 PM I liked their morning lineup. They probably won't have any trouble getting some of it back if The Partridge Family bombs.
Real advertisers (and they don't have many) probably don't like the demographics that watch black and white, antique shows.
icecream 12-30-2025, 08:28 PM Grrr! Head of the Class will already be preempted on just the 2nd Sunday of the new schedule for a marathon of good for nothing Maude on January 11. Screw you Antenna TV!
PaperClips 12-31-2025, 10:47 AM Antenna TV is "Commercial TV". The Gold commercial and John Walsh basically have their own channels.
They are doing it on the cheap - every program - except "Alice" is free of charge - they are all available on pluto, roku, etc.
They are no MeTv.
stevea 12-31-2025, 11:09 AM They definitely are NOT MeTV. MeTV is major league, Antenna TV is little league. The gold ads are ridiculous--no credible network should agree to show commercials the length of these.
i do think they contract for all their programming, though--a lot of it comes from Sony. None of their shows are public domain.
BigManMike 12-31-2025, 01:13 PM It seems unusual they have Mork and Mindy, Family Ties, and Wings since they are all CBS Paramount shows and the Weigel networks have most of all the other shows from CBS Paramount. If I want my own Family Ties marathon, I just turn on the 24/7 channel on Pluto. Much better.

I totally agree. I stopped watching when they started credit crunching in 2015 and haven’t looked back since. It’s gone even further downhill since then with all these excessive commercials and speeding up the shows. I haven’t missed anything. Its earliest days from 2011 to 2014 were the glory years. It all went down after that. Most of the shows are on DVD or on a free streaming service like Pluto or Tubi.

Antenna TV was useful for me a few years back when they ran episodes of The Joey Bishop Show. I didn't need season 2 because I have the retail DVD set, but I recorded the episodes from seasons 1, 3, and 4, then transferred them on to DVD's. Antenna TV's airings are edited, about two minutes are deleted from each episode, and that credit crunch nonsense is a pain in the ass, but it's better than nothing at all.
The last time I checked, the Tubi website has The Joey Bishop Show episodes. Seasons 3 and 4 episodes look to be mostly complete and contain scenes that Antenna TV chopped off.
stevea 12-31-2025, 08:56 PM The credit crunch screwed up my recording of The Paul Lynde Show on Antenna TV several years ago. It always looks bad with the next show playing over the end.
And if you ever want to see some shows again, there's no alternative but to record them off TV.

I also recorded those Paul Lynde episodes, I have them on VHS cassettes and have not yet transferred them to DVD's. Antenna TV ran 19 of the 26 episodes, so I'm missing the 7 episodes they didn't air.
stevea 12-31-2025, 09:38 PM I was trading with a guy in Palm Springs, of all places. He supplied some of the missing episodes, and I supplied him with the ones Antenna did show. Most of the ones he had are from black and white copies.

That's too bad if they're black and white but it's better than nothing since it's a rare show.
On the subject of recording stuff from TV, I still have my recordings of East Side Kids and Bowery Boys movies that I recorded from WGN TV Chicago during the 1984 to 1987 timeframe. These airings were sourced from 16mm film prints so they have that retro look to them which to me is pretty cool.
stevea 12-31-2025, 11:19 PM That's probably akin to The Three Stooges as I remember them when I was a kid. All on Philadelphia's "Popeye Theater" in 16mm film quality. The pristine quality on TV now doesn't look quite right.
It might have been better to remaster them in 35mm quality and retain some of the traditional film grain rather than "cleaning it up."

Agreed. I have an actual 16mm film print of the Bowery Boys movie titled Crashing Las Vegas. The movie is on two reels. It's the last Bowery Boys movie with Leo Gorcey before he left the series and he's visibly inebriated during much of the movie. I sent the film out to be professionally transferred on to DVD and it looks good.
Alan Brady's Hair 01-01-2026, 03:03 PM I saw that they were using colorized Bewitched S1 E2 today. I guess they're using colorized Jeannie, too? Has Season 1 Hazel been colorized (aside from the few that were always in color)?
Marcus2026 01-01-2026, 03:35 PM I saw that they were using colorized Bewitched S1 E2 today. I guess they're using colorized Jeannie, too? Has Season 1 Hazel been colorized (aside from the few that were always in color)?
They've used the colorized prints of Bewitched's 1st 2 seasons and Jeannie's 1st season since last year.
And S1 of Hazel was never colorized outside of the episodes that originally aired in color.
stevea 01-01-2026, 04:04 PM It surprises me Antenna stuck with Hazel due to the lack of color in the first season.
NBC did promo color in the early 60s for some black and white episodes--with Hazel, that amounted to only one 1961 episode--where Hazel and Mr. B. bought a color set for her bedroom.
Merry24 01-01-2026, 10:48 PM I think the black and white Shows will Return for the Fall/Holiday Season Schedule 2026.

stevea 01-01-2026, 10:53 PM I think the black and white Shows will Return for the Fall/Holiday Season Schedule 2026.
I think the black and white morning shows will be back quicker than that. Probably within a few months.
Merry24 01-01-2026, 10:57 PM I think you’re right Stevea! Hopefully they will also be adding back shows like Mister Ed & Patty Duke & New ones like Real Mcoys & December Bride & Adventures Of Ozzie & Harriet and more!!
stevea 01-01-2026, 11:09 PM Other than Hazel, I'm boycotting them in the morning. I hope others will do the same.
icecream 01-01-2026, 11:29 PM Oy vey, silent night and Dennis the Yelling Menace are polar opposites. Antenna TV is never going to give just one show a Christmas Eve marathon, that will always be an assortment. As for New Year's Eve, I would prefer a full night of Jack Benny. But since they didn't do that this week with it still on the schedule, doesn't seem likely for future marathons. :(
BigManMike 01-10-2026, 11:37 PM So I DVR’d an episode of the Ted Knight Show to see what it was and it’s the same prints of the final season of Too Close for Comfort that they have had all along with the Too Close for Comfort title so I don’t know whey they decided to separate it from the rest of the series and use the Ted Knight Show name on the schedule when the episodes say Too Close for Comfort. That will surely confuse people.

Ironically, the show was still doing well in the ratings, and was planned to resume production for more episodes until star Ted Knight's death forced the production to stop for good.

Marcus2026 07-07-2026, 06:32 PM And it's the first Sunday Special of the year, after spamming them a lot last year.
