FETV has been running most of its shows "off the clock" now, meaning rarely starting on an hour or half-hour, running half-hour episodes for about 35-40 minutes and hour-long episodes around 1:15. Fortunately that gives the network to air the episodes uncut while also running lots of ads. TV Land has done this too, but having looked closely once I could swear that network is just loading an extra 5-10 minutes of commercials into shows like MASH. FETV also added 2 Season 3 episodes which it had skipped before, "The Fashion Show" and "Let's Get Away from It All", to its rerun cycle, uncut like the other episodes. I've noticed lots of scenes added back that were missing before, including an opening scene with a Japanese father & daughter that I'd never seen before. Unfortunately FETV has started skipping Season 5 altogether. I imagine a lot of HAZEL fans feel the same way about that season that ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW fans feel about the color, non-Barney, episodes, but I'm disappointed, as I'd love to see all these uncut at least once. Also as far as I can tell, FETV has never rerun Season 5's "Hazel's Endearing Young Charms", which I thought had a few cute scenes with Susie Baxter & her black cat, which had also appeared in a then-recent episode called "Please Advise". I saw the episode once on You Tube, but I don't expect it to remain there forever.

It is a shame that they are skipping season 5. While it might not be most fans favorite, it is part of the show's history. It is nice to see a young Ann Jillian also.

I've heard of networks and stations skipping season 1 since it's black and white, but skipping season 5 is a first, I think. Since that season came out on DVD, the full episodes should be available. The season 5 episodes look and sound chopped up on Antenna TV (unlike the earlier seasons) so it's possible the syndication prints don't have the full episode option. Therefore, FETV may have chosen to skip them, at least until they can get the episodes unedited.

I have the DVD's of all five seasons. Episodes appear to be complete aside from two exceptions.

"Campaign Manager" from season 3 appears to be an edited, syndication print. Maybe the complete version is lost so they had to use the edited syndication print.

"It's A Dog's Life" from season 4 I believe has a music edit and the episode runs about a minute shorter than usual.
