For the second time, King of the Hill will be departing Adult Swim's schedule on November 22, as they are losing the rights to the show and allowing the contract to lapse. Instead, they chose to acquire the three latest seasons of Bob's Burgers as they thought it would be more feasible.
It's almost guaranteed that Futurama will be gone by the end of December (which was also likely licensed through a four-year contract with Disney/21st Century Television) since it bombed in ratings for inexplicable reasons.
When it originally ran in the mid 2000s, it topped Adult Swim's ratings and now it's struggling and relegated to graveyard slots. Starting in December, Futurama will fortunately be the show for transitioning in and out of the block rather than having Bob's Burgers play non-stop.
King of the Hill, you will be missed after airing on Adult Swim for 14 years on and off. When you heard the intro play, you either knew Cartoon Network was done for the night or that the real fun was about to begin. Who knows, it could come back in the future like Family Guy.
