I don't even think it's coming back. If it does, maybe next summer.

Wow. I didn't know that it might not come back. Why do you think it might not?

It was for the summer only, not at all for the regular season. I'd be surprised if it does come back this summer.

Do you know what the show's place was in the ratings for the season?

I don't think I have what it was for the season, but here are week by week:
episode #1: #21 (Thurs 9:30)
episode #2: #61 (Tues 8:30)
episode #3: #T40 (Thurs 9:30)
episode #4: #74 (Tues 8:30)
episode #5: #67 (Thurs 9:30)
episode #6: #83 (Tues 8:30)

It had a great debut, the rest were not good at all.

I watched 2 episodes of it, and frankly couldn't stand it. Unfortunately, I fell victim to that god awful "Saved By The Bell/Star Wars" fusion. I'm really not surprised the show is gone. I'll admit when I first heard about it, I thought it would be great. Here you had this ensemble cast re-enacting sitcoms from the 70s/80s. It just didn't work.

I just don't think it reached a broad enough audience. The adults that grew up with most of the shows prob. watched it to see what it was like. When they saw how they were doing it, they prob. lost that audience- lost the majority of that audience anyway. Then you have teenagers. I know the teens on this site are very different from other teenagers. The teens on this site love old shows, they actually know past show history. Most teenagers outside of the boards prob. saw Diff'rent Strokes parody listed in the Tv Guide and asked themselves what the hell a Diff'rent Stroke was.

LOL, Jenny, you're probably right. I thought the Rerun Show was okay, but I mean, they obviously chose the most sexed up episode possible and made it even more disgusting. It was okay, but I think it was a big mistake. I also found the Diff'rent Strokes parody so offensive it wasn't even funny, you know, they just handled that one badly. Really bad.

It could have been better if it wasn't as parody as it was. They could have just had one show per episode (instead of 2) and they could have tried to make it less of a parody or at least make it seem more real. Some were good and some were bad (MWC as Apes? MWC as The Osbournes? Why didn't they just do The Osbournes?).

Also, wouldn't it have run out of sitcoms if it ran for a full season?
