Mom was telling me that Google is teaming up with Roku to launch their own streaming service soon. The streaming service will be named Google Search and will feature movies and shows that you can interact with Roku users while the movie or show is running. A full subscription of Google Search according to my mom will be $20 but when it debuts Roku users can only see certain shows and movies for free. Has anyone heard about this and what is your take on Google Search?

I had the chance to look at Google Search and from what I saw of it is mostly news and movies and I think Roku copied Pluto TV because Google Search's menu is like Pluto TV's menu. And I cannot see how people will pay $20 for a year of Google Search but this idea for a streaming service by Google and Roku is weak. I think in the future Google Search will become more like Howdy but will raise it's prices

If the streaming service collaboration of Roku and Google become a reality then it can be free for all users
