Somthing really bothers me about this version as to why is their no compenstation being awarded to the impostors for incorrect votes or if the main central character manages to successfully stump all four panelists (later down to three due to COVID-19)?

Yeah, I know, As least the producers could have thrown a few hundred $$. I sometimes wish the show was back on. They could have child or grandchild of 1940- 1960's movie star. I would love to see Bette Davis's children she adopted with Gary Merrill or Clark Gable's son.

If it were being brought back again, they probably would still make this into a comedy instead of the gameplay Coffeecup, and for the granchildren thing, I could see them doing that in either the Collyer, Moore, Garagiola, Ward, Elliott, Swann or Trebek versions in the past, but not here.

Also I'm not sure if they want to bring back Anthony Anderson and Mama Doris or get another black comedian or actor for the gig.

but back to not giving cash to the imposters/central character, how can this version of TTTT be considered as a "game show" if you don't give away cash prizes? game shows are supposed to give away cash and prizes, without it the contestant will feel cheated and dishonest.

To use another well known Fremantle owned property, for example, imagine if The Price is Right refuses to give away cars, trips or cash to contestants after they succeeded in the opening bid, won their pricing game, spun a $1.00 in the showcase showdown or won their showcase in the final segment of the show. You would've gotten pissed off, let alone sue the show for their wrong doing. You know what I mean Coffeecup?
