A Honeymooners Veterans Day:

(Ralph & Ed are watching a parade from the top of their apartment building.)

Ralph: “So nice of Brooklyn to have their own Veterans Day parade.”

Ed: “Seems like this parade is only popular during war time.”

Ralph: “That’s true. I remember when Vererans Day was in October. Fortunately they moved it to November.”

Ed: “Every Veterans Day Peanuts comic since the 60s has Snoopy claiming he’s going to Bill Mauldin’s house to drink beer.”

Ralph: “If only that was true in real life.”

Ed: “Hey, I am an army veteran. Why we don’t come down to my place and drink some beers.”

Ralph: “Great idea Norton.”

Ed: “I know that you can drink three cases and not get drunk.”

(Ralph rolls his eyes.)

Ralph: “Let’s toast the veterans.”

(They sing a song about toasting veterans. After that, the crowd cheers.)

(Jackie walks on stage. Crowd cheers.)

Jackie: “Thank you. I noticed some servicemen in the front row. Thank you for keeping our country free.”

(Crowd cheers.)

Jackie: “Good night everyone.”

(Crowd cheers.)
