After searching the Happy Days Online site a million times, I found out that Scott Baio and Erin Moran actually dated on/off on the sets. Because I had just seen the episode in which Joanie falls for Potsie and they have that cute little talk, I was very emotional. I ended up bawling when I read that it became permenantly off. Why couldn't they have gotten married?!?!?!

I think Joanie and Potsie would have made a cute couple too! But, as Joanie grew up her opinions changed and she jumped on the bandwagon of thinking Potsie was a nerd (so tragic). But, had Joanie fell for Potsie instead of Chachi I think she would have been happier. Potsie may have been goofy, but I think he would have put Joanie on a pedestal.

I always thought Joanie was a bit young. Well, in the beginning she was (She was STILL a chipmunk...), but ya in the 80s she was a young woman. Yes yes, read CamQueens fanfic. GOOD stuff.:D

When you first said White_Daisy that they dated on and off..I was like :eek3: POTSIE and Joanie? LOl. But ya, Chachi and Joanie/ Erin and Scott wouldve been cool.

Haha, I always thought that Potsie and Joanie would make a cute couple at times, but I don't know, she and Chachi seem destined for each other. Besides, can you imagine how upset Richie would be? Everyone always talks about how upset Chachi would be, but how about Richie. I know when my best friend (in the entire world, we've been friends for fifty million gazillion years...or all sixteen years we have been alive) started to seriously date my older brother, I was fuming. For all of those out there who haven't felt the pain, there is this horrible feeling that comes along with that, a good mix of jealousy (they'll leave me out of everything!), anger (she's been using me to get to him), denial (that's disgusting! he's not remotely close to being cute), horror (oh god, what if they get married and have little babies...ewww) and of course that wonderful feeling of shock. Then again, she didn't tell me until they had been dating for eight months so it was awkward since they were already so serious. Well, my point is this: I doubt Richie would be too happy to hear his sister's going out with his friend.
