ABC’s "Shifting Gears" will celebrate the holidays with Pamela Adlon.
The Tim Allen-led comedy has cast Adlon in a guest role as Gabriel’s (Seann William Scott) opinionated single mother. The episode is scheduled to air Dec. 10.
The logline for the episode, titled “Nutcracker,” reads:
“This holiday season, the Parkers discover that romance isn’t always a smooth ride as Matt (Allen) and Eve (Jenna Elfman) are on thin ice, Gabe enlists Riley (Kat Dennings) to help Amelie (Carson Fagerbakke) impress his mom (Adlon), and Carter (Maxwell Simkins) seeks help with his ‘promposal.’”
