Perhaps you're thinking of Catherine Burns, who played Nurse Ann in the episode "Gossip." I'm still trying to get a good picture of her from that episode. What I want to know is, who played the desk nurse?

Anyway, here's "Dr. Shrinker's" Susan Lawrence from the episode "Family Ties." That episode also had somebody on the nursing staff who was uncredited, specifically a candy striper.

Personally, I thought she looked better as Nurse Carol than Kate Tanner.
