CHiPs stars Erik Estrada, Larry Wilcox, and Robert Pine took part in a panel at Retro Con 2025 to discuss the show, share their experiences, and answer fan questions.

Erik Estrada played Officer Frank Poncherello, aka Ponch on CHiPs, but is also known for the Fallout TV series, Sealab 2021, The Bold and the Beautiful, Hunter, Loaded Weapon 1, National Lampoon’s Van Wilder, and Two Women, One Road. He reprised his role in CHiPs ’99.

Larry Wilcox portrayed Officer Jon Baker on CHiPs, but is also known for The Dirty Dozen: Next Mission, Murder She Wrote, The Magical World of Disney, Perry Mason: The Case of the Avenging Ace, Loaded Weapon 1, and Mood Swings. He reprised his role as Captain Jon Baker in CHiPs ’99.

Robert Pine played Sergeant Joseph Getraer on CHiPs and reprised his role in CHiPs ’99 as Commissioner. He is also known for Black Scorpion, The Bold and the Beautiful, 24, Finding Carter, Kaplan’s Korner, Five Days at Memorial, Red Eye, Lakeview Terrace, and many more.
