My mom has a deal with Walmart where she can get Sirius XM for free and I would like to know if it is worth getting? Is Sirius XM better than Pandora with the artists songs that actually play on their stations? And do you get commercials with Sirius XM too or is it commercial free? I have heard that they are in fact better than Pandora and they offer exclusive stations too. Also how is Sirius XM's Holiday music stations? Do they offer a lot of Christmas music stations too?

They used to be MUCH BETTER before that idiot that worked with Sirius ruined XM!

In my opinion XM was BETTER but now both are crap... I wouldnt pay for either! (Both owned by the same people)

Quite sad.....

Free would be the only way I'd get it. Try looking at Goodwill or other thrift stores.
To date I have found 7 SiriusXM receivers with active subscriptions on them including one that was lifetime. All of these I got for $20 or less each.

How are the stations at Sirius XM Zoneboy? Do you get the same habit of repeated songs and double played songs like Pandora does? Or do they play different songs? Also does Sirius XM have a lot of classic country stations and also do they have many country music stations too. What about Spanish language music stations too? Because my father loves classic country music and my mom likes Spanish language music too
Thank you very much for the reply Zoneboy

The channels I have listened to tend to be very repetitive. I mainly listen to the classic rock channels and Willie's Roadhouse. There's probably less than 10 I even care for.

I don't have it right now, but I have had it in my car, but in my opinion, the country stations need to be like the pop stations. There should be one for 60's country, one for 70's country, and so on.

God bless you always!!!
