The Walking Dead Universe Iconic Props and Memorabilia Fetches $1.97 Million at Auction

The three-day auction of "The Walking Dead" memorabilia from the iconic series, held on October 30–November 1, was a resounding success, generating a total of $1.97 million in sales. The success was driven by overwhelming demand, with 1,840 worldwide bidders competing for 892 unique lots.

“This event proved that The Walking Dead is more than a television series. It’s a cultural phenomenon,” says Joe Maddalena, Executive Vice President at Heritage Auctions. “The response from fans and collectors was extraordinary. Every bid reflected a personal connection to the show and the characters that redefined modern television.”




The highest bidding items were the weapons and vehicles from "The Walking Dead" characters.

- Rick Grimes’ (Andrew Lincoln) hero .357 Magnum revolver sold for a staggering $125,000.

- Negan’s (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) iconic “Lucille” baseball bat sold for $100,000.

- Daryl Dixon’s (Norman Reedus) hero crossbow sold for $35,000.

- Michonne’s (Danai Gurira) hero katana and sheath sold for $25,000.

- The custom Pontiac GTO signed by Andrew Lincoln from Season 1 sold for $31,250.

- Althea’s (Maggie Grace) MRAP from Fear the Walking Dead sold for $31,250.

- The “Teddy Bear Girl” walker costume from the pilot episode sold for $19,375.
