Today I heard what has to be Frank Sinatra's worst song. First time I have ever heard asbestos in song lyrics. Heaven Rest Us, I'm Not Asbestos was his bad attempt at a rhyme. Don't know the title, says don't ask me to dance several times.

That's the song I Won't Dance Don't Ask Me. And the lyrics actually are "heaven rest us i'm not as best as." The only reason why Frank pronounces as best as like asbestos is due to his New York accent

Dorothy Fields actually rewrote the lyrics and she used that word asbestos. It has something to do with being fireproof or something. It's weird to be sure.

This reminds me of a song (I think it was released in the 40s or 50s but I don't know who sang it) I've heard of (but I've never actually listened to) titled I'd Rather Have A Bottle In Front Of Me (Than A Frontal Lobotomy). LOL! Talk about weird and funny lyrics, Haha.
