Yeah, I've heard of it. Donny Osmond was in one version of it. Not sure if it was broadway or just a movie though.

....Now now now Joseph you'll make it some day. Sha la la Joseph you're doin fine, you and your dreamcoat ahead of your time.....

LOL yeah...I've seen it like two years ago. One of the high schools around here did that for their play. And after it was over, I had all the songs in my head.

"I look handsome, I look smart. I am a walking work of art. Such a dazzling coat of many colors. How I love my coat of many colors...it was....[ and then they say all these colors ]"

Or something like that....

Great show. A few years ago whe I was still in the theater biz, i worked on a production of "Joseph" with my old High School theater group. I rigged this really cool drawbridge-like staircase that lowered onto the stage from the face of the Sphinx.
It was a fun show to work on.

Saw it in Chicago several years back. Loved it. Have the soundtrack. Must go listen to it now....

As a "Child of the Sixties", I remember it well. It first came out, I believe, in the late 1960s, around the same time as plays such as "Hair", "Godspell", and "Jesus Christ, Superstar".
