View Full Version : What would you do if you were a kid invited to the Strattons house? Plata 11-11-2002, 10:00 PM I think I would like to ride around on the train or play some nintendo like Pacman or something. lovinbecker023 11-21-2002, 11:57 AM If I was hanging out at the Strattons house, I would check out their big TV. I would guess they would have a really big TV . I would tune in to my favourite show - Becker It is a great show. If you like Silver Spoons, you will like Becker Too!!! Yay, BECKER!:happyface SSforever22 11-21-2002, 12:02 PM Becker!? Are you CRAZY!? I don't remember a big train you COULD RIDE in Becker's house. Becker doesn't begin to compete with the complete, perfect beauty this is SS! Take your Becker crap back to the lame Becker board! SSForever! lovinbecker023 11-21-2002, 12:06 PM No I am not CRAZY. Yes I know there was a BIG TRAIN you could ride in the house and that would be fun for... maybe 5 minutes. Not as much fun as watching a big TV. My TV is small, but i have been on a train before. The zoo has one. I think Silver Spoons was a good show, and that's no reason to call me lame, or Becker lame, or the message board lame. I think you are jeleous - Becker is still on the TV, and Silver Spoons is not anymore. What does that tell you about which is the better show? BECKER IS STILL ON!!!! SSforever22 11-21-2002, 12:12 PM The train is a symbol you IDIOT - it's a symbol of the circular nature of life. I guess you were taking it literally. And clearly you don't have a good cable company - SS is STILL ON, and as good as ever! Rick(y) has grown up a little bit, and I'll admit he drinks a little too much and doesn't really fit on the train, but I think the new version is just as good as the old one. there is a reason to call Becker lame - it's not SS! lovinbecker023 11-21-2002, 12:33 PM I am not an IDIOT just becuase I don't like to ride trains in houses. And my brother just told me that the other show you are talking about is not Silver Spoons, it's Hill Street Blues. And I also found out that there was no show in the middle between them because Ricky was in a drug rehab center for 4 years trying to get ok. Ted Danson never spent time in a drug rehab center. I am glad Ricky is better now. I heard he was doing drugs while working on the Silver Spoons show. He would have not been doing drugs if he liked the show. See! Even Ricky did not like the show. I am going to email him to see if he likes Becker. Plus Ted Danson has nicer hair than Ricky. Ricky's haircut is stupid. Crimson 11-21-2002, 03:14 PM It's not worth arguing over people. dandelion wine 03-13-2005, 03:25 AM When I watched this show as a kid, I so wanted to go to Rick's house. :faint: First thing I'd do is play all of the video games he had, and I would have to ride that damn train. I just thought it was too cool. Judith A. I'm not sure just where you're getting your information but you are seriously wrong on that aspect. I know and my company represents far too many people on the cast and crew of Silver Spoons that worked with and hung out with Rick continuously through his life (and still do) who will be more than happy to verify that he's never had a drug problem. Heck anyone who knows his mother Diane would know that he would never be stupid enough to become involved with the drug scene. He purposely took time off after the series was over because he wanted to finish high school, get a bit of a break from being in front of a camera (considering he'd been working continuously for over seven years) and relax for a bit. He also got married and had three children before joining the cast of NYPD Blue (not Hill Street Blues). Oh, and to answer the original question of what I would do if Ricky had invited me over for the night - I'd make a pass at his father. Come to think of it, I still would...LOL! |
