View Full Version : Did Fred Sanford ever visit Grady at his new home-On the spinoff Grady?
TVFactFan 11-09-2002, 08:44 PM Back in August, I was hearing so much about the spinoff "Grady" when FRed visits Grady. The Grady episode that was shown on TV LAND in August did not have Fred in the episode, and I saw the Pilot episode for the spinoff Grady and there still wasn't no appearance of FRED. So can someone please tell me if Fred ever made a visit to Grady because now i don't think it's true. Also if someone has this episode, I will be wiling to purchase a copy.
jon123 11-24-2002, 07:53 PM I think Fred did visit Grady in one episode but it was so long ago before VHS it will be hard to find a copy.

You might have already done this, not sure though. Check www.imdb.com and type in Redd Foxx's name in the search box. If he did a guest shot on Grady, it ought to be listed in his Guest Appearances section.

I just checked Jenny, Fred did guest star on the first episode of Grady which means that TV LAND did not show the first episode on Augst 27, 2002 during Norman's Lear Birthday celebration. That's why I wish i had a episode guide for Grady.

You know I tried looking for a Grady guide tonight. I've tried typing in all sorts of stuff to find one, but I still can't find one. Maybe I'll check later on today under Whitman Mayo fansites and maybe somebody will have a guide. Geez, I know it's rare but even the rarest of shows has an ep. guide.

I remember someone saying something about 1978 I can't remember but i will check. Something didn't start until 78 which is why No Grady Guide-I will find out.

I found out that the Grady episodes were not entered into the LIbrary of Congress. It was said that some shows that started before 1978 were not entered. I'm guessing it was the short-lived sitcoms before 1978 because there wasn't a episode guide for the Sanford and Son spinoff "Sanford Arms" which started and ended in 1977
Sean Snow 11-27-2002, 06:53 PM IMDb may bewrong about the episode number Fred was in. The info to IMDb is mostly sent in by fans, so a fan might've heard that Fred was in an episode and assumed it was the first episode. It could've been at any point in the series. *Shrugs* One of the reasons I think this is true is since there is only information on Red Foxx gueststarring in the guest stars area on IMDb, which points to a fan sending it in.
