The story started that Sanchez was stabbed and in critical condition.

Then it changed to he was in stable condition.

It ends with him being arrested and charged.

Only in ex- Jets land……

I guess his broadcasting days are over for now. This is cruel and unusual punishment.

Wow isnt stab wounds enough??

Why charge him with anything???

So, allegedly, Sanchez attacks the guy and he wasn't supposed to pull a knife and attempt to defend himself?

Sanchez allegedly attacked the 69 year old truck driver. And looking at pictures on Fox 59 website, the guy he attacked looks in pretty bad shape.

I guess they were fighting over a parking spot.. But it sure seems there's probable cause to charge Sanchez.

It's a level 5 felony that carries prison time.

And looking at pictures on Fox 59 website

Does every story about this there begin with “Former Jets quarterback……” like it does here?

Back to the case, how can you sue FOX? Where they supposed to know this would happen? (As far as I remember he had no prior incidents)

>>>The official complaint alleges assault and battery against Sanchez and negligent hiring, retention and supervision against Fox<<<

It appears not--"former NFL quarterback" seems to be more popular:

The only explanation I've come across is that this is just in case there's an as yet unknown history of Sanchez being drunk on these game trips in the past.

That makes sense. Probably like that in most places.

One of the cretins Pete Carroll brought to USC in the mid-2000s. Sanchez: 2005-2008.

In the words of Pete at that time, regarding his players:
"Somebody's got to defend these guys..."

Maybe if you don't harbor criminals on your teams, Pete, you won't need to worry about defense attorneys.

Is Sanchez now still "hailed as a role model for Hispanic youth" -- ? Yeah, right.
