I was watching the "Miss Liz" episode, I think it was, where Chico, Ed and his new girlfriend are in her apartment and she is cooking supper. (It's the episode that begins with him coming back from vacation). The apartment has an angled ceiling, and it suddenly reminded me of Welcome, Back, Kotter (It looked a lot like the Kotter's small apartment).

Is this possible? Was W.B.K. on NBC like C.A.T.M. was? I remember the funny way the Kotters apartment was painted, with a line painted along the wall and door. In the CATM episode, it wasn't painted like that, though.

Just wondering..:)

Yeah I noticed that too watching that episode. The apartartment had that familiar atmosphere of The one on Welcome back Kotter.

I wonder if they could've borrowed a set from Kotter since both shows were produced by James Komack. Kotter was on ABC & CATM on NBC tho. I think they might've taped in the same bldg but not sure. Seems to me I read that somewhere. CATM & SANFORD & SON shared the same set tho. When one show needed to film the other one would tear down it's set & they would put up the set of the one that needed to film etc. I read that somewhere & I think someone on here mentioned it too...

Cool, I thought I recognized the apartment set up from somewhere!
