Anybody else like the Captain and Tennille? I love them so much! lol I love that song Muskrat Love! I heard it on a radio station a few days ago and I was excited lol! Didn't they do a variety show or something in the 70s? If so, I definatly want to see it!

I remember they were really popular when I was about 4 years old. We had their album around the house and my brother and I would listen to it. I don't think they ever really got the credit that they deserved.

They sing "Love Will Keep us Together" right? AHHAHAHHHHH I LOVE THAT SONG! It was in the movie "Get Over It"....Shane....sigh....:)

I believe they also had a variety show in the 70's and Captain & Tennille were really big in the 70's and when my mom was cleaning my room I had the Captain & Tennille station on Pandora and my mom was listening to it and she was amazed at it too. An amazing historic fact about Captain And Tennille was that they did not have a hit with Love Will Keep Us Together and it was a song that Neil Sedaka wrote and had a hit with it first but Captain And Tennille's version is the best

Yes, Sedaka's version was on a 1973 album, but that was not released in the U. S. It then got a release in this country on the "Sedaka's Back" album in 1974.

As a nod to that, The Captain and Tennille added the lyric "Sedaka's Back" to the ending of their version, which topped the charts in 1975.

Neil Sedaka is now 86 years old.
