Plus....I just took the gender test, which said I was a man. @ the end, I chose the answer, "Bitches! I am a GIRL!".... they said "Really?!" Prolly cos I said "The Slot Machine" instead of "Black Jack" for the male pornstar name...

I am only 23% gay. The average for a male is 39% so that makes me feel good.

I just want to say that, as a lesbian myself, I find it slightly offensive that so many of you are worried about being percieved as gay. It's not a disease you know and it certainly isn't a bad thing.
I wouldn't worry about it anyway - it's just a dumb internet quiz. Against my better judgement I took the test and it told me I'm only 48% gay - concrete evidence that it is not accurate.
Anyway, just cos a woman is able to identify the difference between a jigsaw and any other kind of saw doesn't mean she's a lesbian - it just means she got good grades in shop class! ;)
All those questions were just rooted in stereotypes. I don't mean to preach, but untill people can get over stereotypical thoughts and predudices, society is going nowhere!

We are born with certain body parts. These body parts are meant to fit together in order to reproduce. The only people who I feel have a choice are Hermaphrodites. As for the rest of us WE WERE BUILT THIS WAY FOR A REASON! Then again what do I know? Ah, the world is overpopulated anyway. So, carry on.

I agree. Though it would seem in this day and age to tell everyone just to get a f-ing grip, and embrace the only life you have and those around you may remain an afterthought- that people should not walk around with blinders on.

I'd like to think we all have the best intentions, and I don't think most of the youth today think of homosexuality as any sort of "disease". I'd like to think that people are smart. And educated.

So get on your bikes and ride.

I have faith.
You just be nice.

I am 55% gay, which for the record doesn't bother me at all considering I bisexual, so this test wasn't a complete shock.

Thank you for saying that, because that just made me think of something...

How is a person a certain "percent" gay? I mean ok... Your either straight, gay, or bi-sexual. I find it hard to be 45% straight and 55% gay... I know it's only a test but come on people, use practical sense.

In my opinion, youre either gay or not gay. There is no percentages on how gay you are, and personally i think that whole test is dumb. I am not gay, and I don't agree with the gay lifestyle. That's all I have to say.

Well I agree with the whole test thing, but on gay lifestyles, I agree with the lifestyles. I mean, as long as they don't bother me, I've got no problem.... well I mean, even if they DO bother someone, they are, after all, people too you know. People need to open their eyes and recognize that not everyone in the world is the All-American blonde-haired blue-eyed cheerleader.

I don't get what this "as long as they don't bother me" thing is. It's like everyone has this weird idea that all gays are out to hit on every single straight person on the planet. That's why God invented gaydar.

Btw, speaking of cheerleaders, anyone ever watch "But I'm a Cheerleader"?? Funny movie!!

 Yeah, thank the Lord for gaydar! ;)

I know that Karli didn't mean anything by the "....as long as they don't bother me" thing but it never fails to baffle me why some people think that gay folks are out to 'convert' everyone else. We're not!!! In fact, if I like a girl but I know for a fact that she's straight, I won't bother her or pressure her in any way. I don't want to hear people telling me why I should be straight so I'm not gonna pressure people into believing in my way of living.

'But I'm a Cheerleader' is a brilliant, funny and very touching movie. I think that the few people here who seem to have some problem with homosexuals should watch it. With any luck it may help to alter their perceptions.

The thing that always baffles me is the line of thought that "it's OK, as long as they don't flaunt it." Well what's that supposed to mean? Are they not allowed to be proud of who they are? Are you not flaunting your heterosexuality every single day but no one ever notices because most of the rest of the planet is flaunting heterosexuality as well? To me this statement is almost as silly as something like "Black people are OK, as long as they don't flaunt it" (no more Kwanzaa), or "Jews are OK as long as they don't flaunt it" (no more skull caps) or "Christians are OK as long as they don't flaunt it" (no more crucifix necklaces, no more Jesus fish, no more I Love Jesus bumper stickers) or "Americans are OK as long as they don't flaunt it" (no more "Proud to be an American" or "God bless the USA" T-shirts). Those are obviously pretty absurd examples, but maybe that will get through to anyone here who thinks gays shouldn't flaunt it: 1,000s of people flaunt 1,000s of things every day, and just because you disagree with it does not mean they should stop. Perhaps it just means you need to open your mind, or learn to ignore things you have no control over and you cannot change.

More often than not these are the same folks that thank the lord for "gaydar" as it allows them to "identify" gay people. But the entire concept of "gaydar" is dependent upon gays "flaunting it". Seems like rather skewed logic to me.

As for being a percentage of gay.... what many people fail to realize is that straightness or gayness is NOT something that is fixed from the moment you are born to the moment you die, at least not for every single human being on the planet. (Before someone tries, do not twist my words into saying that I believe gays are "made" or whatever. I believe that you are born with a predominant sexual preference, and it is not a choice. However, for many people throughout their lives, there are shades of grey between straight and gay.) Why do you think so many movies, TV shows, etc. mention people (esp. girls) "experimenting" in college, etc. One of my best friends is bisexual, but we often joke that he is about 85% gay, 15% straight. This is because there is no doubt in the world he likes girls, but when given a choice, he would more often choose to look at or be with a man. But that doesn't mean he would turn down a girl if she offered herself to him. So there's one way someone can sort of be a percentage of gay or straight.
