I just finished listening to Freddie's Looking Good CD (AGAIN) and I have to admit it was funnier than I thought it would be!!!!
I especially like to hear him laugh at his own jokes!!!! Does anyone know if there were
any more recordings of any other stand-up routines from TV, night clubs or anything else he'd done? I'd especially love to see a video of him doing stand-up comedy but I'm afraid that was before taping was so popular.
I recently watched a Rolling Stones concert from 1969 and thought it would be nice if our Freddie had anything recorded or taped.

Hi,
I was thinking the same thing. Also IU'm not sure if they had bloopers and practical jokes then but wouldn't be fun to see bloopers from CATM?
Speaking of taped programs,Does anyone know if it's possible to get a tape of Freddie's last public appearence?

That was the only one he made with that label in 1975....There were no others made....

He should've sang & done a singing record too. He sings in a CATM episode. I forget which one & is good. In another one he is playing hte guitar & singing a funny country song in a mock hillbilly type voice...

I remember seeing a clip of his last performance at Jimmy Carter's innaugural ball... He did the Puerto Rican astronaut thing and he was really sharp, no hint of what was to come only one week later.

I wish there was a way to find a copy of that tape. I work in NYC and I'm thinking the museum of television and Radio might have something on him. In fact, my job gets me in the museum for either free or for half price, so I may look into heading over there on a Saturday to see what I can find....

Some one who is very smart who works at NBC in their archives could make a lot of money if they would compile tapes of all of Freddie Prinze's appearances on specials and talk shows other than CATM. Could you imagine that video collection.... The Best of Freddie Prinze! Wonder who we could write to get them to do that! I'd buy it. even if it was bootlegged! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/wink.gif

Ooooh! Sounds like a SUPER IDEA to me. I wish I knew of someone to write to and let them know there are so very many people still out there that love Freddie Prinze and would love to see/hear more of his material.
Let's all keep our eyes and ears open!!!!!

I ordered the C.D. from Amazon about a month ago. It is great! It was my first time hearing it and it is precious. Highly recommended for all of us.

Tracy, I enjoyed the entire CD but I laughed especially hard at the end when he discussed
the sounds/ways women of different nationalities make love!!!! I would have loved to "SEE" him do that stand-up routine!!!!
Didn't you love to hear him laugh at his own jokes too? He's got such a sexy laugh - along with everything else. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/tongue.gif

Yeah, everything else including his breathing into the microphone! He could blow in my ear anytime (on CATM he seemed to have a thing for doing that)!

I need to take the time out from doing my website to listen to it. I think I may have heard it yrs ago when it firts came out where either I heard it on the radio or some teenager in school or a friend played it...

It's cute how he laughes at his own jokes. We have a nephew who when he was a little bou (he's 15 now)would say funny stuff & then laugh at himself...

My favorite track has to be #3 Survival! Not only is there a snippet of his wonderful singing voice, but he whispers something that has become near and dear to MY heart! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
