Nell:
I think Nell was really heavy the first 2 seasons. I mean, even in real life it was related to her, but once season 3 came around, she changed for the best, and she looked the best ever! Her character was good in all the episodes I have seen. The first season episodes she was trying to be funny, but they didnt really hit me that much. Season 2 she was ok, but season 3 is where the show was the best for her character. Her looks and her acting got much much better, and the character of Joey changed her acting style on the show for the best. The character of Addy did too. Nell was trying to be so sweet the first 2 seasons, but once Joey and Addy came around she was able to lash out a lot, which I think made the show much better than it was in it's first 2 seasons. Nell's acting stayed great until the death of the Chief. I know she must have been effected by it in real life as well, and her acting was a little bit less than it was in the 3rd and 4th seasons (which in my opinion were the best seasons of the series). Season 5 her acting was the same as it had been when Addy joined the show, but now with the Chief gone, she only cared about herself and getting her education in college. I dont think the show was the same once the switch to NY happened. Season 6 was entertaining, but Nell's acting really wasn't the greatest it had ever been. Once they got rid of the girls, Nell became very lame as a character to watch, yet she was still entertaining to me. (I think that's the main reason why the show got cancelled after the move to NY).
Chief:
He was a very good actor all 4 seasons. He had the same style in season 1 as he did in season 4, yet I think he did lose a lot of weight as well as the 3rd season opened.
Katie/Julie/Sam:
Katie was the center of atention as was Sam for the first season of the show. Every episode they had the most lines rather than Julie. As the show moved on, Katie was seen less, and Sam as well, but now Julie got all the attention in the 5th season. I think if Katie never got the apartment, and Sam wasnt always going on dates all the time, then the show would have been good in the 5th season. I mean it was good, but not equally as good as seasons 3 and 4. Although it falls right behind them as I place my seasons according from best to worst.
