Is Hallmark showing all of the black and white episodes? It has been awhile and I may not be remembering correctly but I believe there were other black and white episodes beyond the pilot show. I remember seeing them years ago on a local independent station but I don't think TV Land ever showed the old black and white shows except for the 1st one, "The Informer". I think this was also the case with other shows of that era like Petticoat Junction. There were many balck and white episodes of Petticoat Junction that TV Land would never show or if they showed them it was not at a time that I was watching.

I meant to post this under the Hallmark thread but I clicked on the wrong button.

I don't know what show you're thinking of, but Hogan's Heroes only had the black and white pilot episode and that's it. Hogan's Heroes aired 168 episodes: 167 in color. The black and white pilot aired September 17, 1965 and the next week the show was in color just like 50% of prime time CBS shows that season. Petticoat Junction started in 1963 and was in black and white until the fall of 1965. Those black and white shows have unjustly never been rerun. Whatever other show you were thinking of with black and white episodes it certainly wasn't Hogan's Heroes.

But yes, Hallmark aired the black and white pilot. And just aired it again this past Saturday. Speaking of black & white pilots. Get Smart had one as well.
And on the Petticoat Junction note, even though I'm sick of The Beverly Hillbillies, it would be nice to PJ on Hallmark paired with BH & HH, since all were 60s shows. And who knows, maybe Hallmark will air the b&w eps of PJ.
