I was wondering if anyone on the board could direct me to safe site that I can order the other seasons that are available on DVD of I love Lucy. I haven't been able to find them at any of my longer stores. They just have season one. I've never ordered online so I am a little concerned with security. Thanks

Only season one is available on DVD currently. As for ordering online, go to http://www.amazon.com - it's perfectly safe. There are others, but I only know the British ones, so I'm sure somebody else can offer suggestions. So long as there's a little padlock at the bottom of the screen when they ask for your credit card details, you're fine. I almost always buy DVDs, books etc, online now, given the extortionate prices in ordinary stores, and I've not had any problems yet. Must be four years and counting since I started using amazon.co.uk.

Okay, now I'm having my first ever superstitious moment, and am thinking of going in search of some wood to touch!

No, nothing to fear Mickey, your suggestion and thinking are right on! I Too was always scared of that, but have NEVER had a problem. The other seasons will only be available when they are through with the season one, 4 episodes at a time fiasco!

I had read recently (last couple months) that future seasons of I Love Lucy would be released in box sets and that only season 1 was not initially going to be released in a box set (if ever).

I don't remember where I read it, it was either tvshowsondvd.com or The Digital Bits. But I could be wrong, it could have been somewhere else.

Hey, i'll take it whatever way it comes, as long as it finally comes, and we never have to see another chopped up version with commercials again!

As far as online retailers go, amazon is the best bet. I've never had any problem with them. And if you order more than $25 worth of stuff, shipping is free!

I also ordered from www.suncoast.com once. Good experience as well.

Well, i've ordered from the Museum, and that experience was great. I've also bought from fans on the net, slow delivery, but never a problem there either, can't blame the fans for the post office slow delivery! Wish someone was a broker for E Bay, someone you could give money to and tell them to get you this or that!
