Okay, I know heir are a lot of people out there who can'ype worth crap, includig me. So this post is dedicated for all you typo queens and kings. You can type however you want (and bout anyhing that you want) and don't even need to reread or correct it, and the great part is no one will tease you for it :)
Here goes mine:

I am so happy i got my laerner's pemrit yestderday. I ma an offical drive now (well with an adult) I am so excited, but nervous. My picture for my eprmit is soo awful. Ilook so fat and "too happy" lool. ohwell. How many ofyou got your permits or ytheir real driver sliscense yet? my frunds are all yoinger thanme so IU am liek oen fo the fisrt ones to get it my permit in my grade. wahoo!

Oh, but that does suck that you have to get your learners permit. Over here, you dont need one. How long do you have to wait until you can get your official license?

Oh yeah, you're talking to one of the type queens. The thing is when I'm typing, I usally type so fast that I usually duplicate a word or better yett I add a letter.

Well, I think that u SUCK! I can write anyting i want to write and as long as people know wat I mean i doesnt matter.

Traitor and trader are actually the same thing if you think about it....youre TRADING sides....

I know!... that guy that annoys me on the FOL boards always corrects me and I call him "mr dictionary" cause he always corrects my spellings w/ a definition. Its really annoying.

I sure am glad I took typing class in Junior High School! I learned enough to be able to type something like 34 words per minute (I don't remember the exact number... it's been 25 years). After graduating High School, I still would type more as a hobby than anything else and I never forgot how. When I type a post, like I am doing now, I am typing the way students are taught... both hands on the keys and not looking at the letters. Unfortunately, I do make typos (too often). Still, I would never had guessed how handy learning how to type would come in someday! :)

I agree. I've been taking some kind of computer class since about 6th grade. When I was in 6th grade they had typewriters instead of computers. Argh, those things were a pain in the ass to type on. At least with computers you can delete and backspace errors. I'm not sure how many words I can type a minute. Let me go to yahoo and search for one of those typing tests. Damn...55 wpm with 1 error

Haha, compared to me Jenny, you did great. I got a 38 WPM and 84 errors. Ha, anyone just try to beat that! I took the fishing in Finland test, and that one was a hard one!!

I was kind of slow starting that one off, but I still made a 55 wpm with 1 error. Did you look at that Top 100 list? Some people were typing over a 100 words a minute. I'll never get that high. lol

GR. It wouldnt let me do it!!!! I went to another site though and I had like 70 something I dunno..it said 78 or whatever..but then on the other page it said 116. But I think its because it counted the spaces. I dont even know! lol

Well, I had to do that whole Java thing.. Ugh damn. 51 WPM and 14 errors LOL. I did that damn Finland one too!!

60 words, 0 errors. Actually, I would of had like, 5 LOL, but I have a habit of correcting. I tried not correcting it, but it was driving me crazy lol. That was fun!

Yeah, I used a typewriter, too. I am trying to remember if they were manual or electric. I think they were manual. You know, I saved an old manual typewriter which is in my garage. It's from (I would guess) the early '70s. Brand is Smith-Corona, or something like that.

I've been having some serious problems with one certain word. I've been checking ebay for Star Trek bobble heads. Except I usually type in Star Trek booble heads. Geez, for some reason I slip up on bobble everytime.

I remember something interesting about my typing teacher in Jr. High. While we students were typing, she kept playing the song by Chicago... "Saturday In The Park." She told us she loved that song, which at the time was only 3 years old then.

Hey, I just found an old report card with that typing class. Let's see... dated June 13, 1975. My grade was "Pass" which meant a "C." Work habits "S" (Satisfactory) and Cooperation "E" (Excellent).

That reminds me of another amusing story. A few years ago, I brought a couple of old reports cards to my workplace to show some co-workers, but I only brought the ones with the better grades. :lol:

I just took the test...

50 words per minute, two errors. I'm satisfied with that. Better typing than I did in school, that's for sure!
