I stormed here last night so we have no school! and tomorrow we have and inservice(our 3rd one) then its rememberance day
on monday so its a holiday!!!! yaaay!!!

We have a 4 day weekend too! Well not really but we have Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and in school on Tuesday we are going to NY on a field trip all day so I guess that's like a day off, no work! Lol

Wow lucky people, I don't get a long weekend. But we didn't have school Tuesday and then we have a half day next Tuesday so I'm not complaining.

And then starting Tuesday, another extra 20 minutes is added onto our school schedule. So now, instead of getting off at 3:00, we get off at 3:20! The tortrue... the pain. :crying:

That sounds like one crazy school. I can understand if they added 20 minutes at the beginning of the next school year, but why do it now?

'Cause the teachers around here are hungry for money? lol I really don't know the reason why they chose to do so... but either way, there's not much we students can do to change that. :(

Regardless of the snow, which we dont have any of here, we have a 5 day weekend cuz of conferences and Verterans Day! YAY!

We only get a three day weekend but we go home early on Tuesday.

Hey Jenny, how many classes do you have a day and how long are they?

Well, Jenny, I'm not Jenny, LOL, but... When I was in school which was only a year ago, I had like 4 or 5 classes a day, each were around an hour and a half, and the school day was from 7:50 - 2:05. Needless to say, it was a loooong day, and no fun at all to sit in class for an hour and a half and half of the class was spent just doing busy work. Thank god it's all over with.

I couldn't stand being at school until 3:24! wow! When does the school day start for you?

That's how it was with me. I had 4 classes and each were an hour and a half. I got out at 2:55 in hs, and it still was a long day. I hated school. Always hated it. Thank god I'm out too.

God I hated school. It was just so boring and long and awful. How pathetic is this? I had more fun in 9th grade than the rest of the 3 years there.

I was the opposite. I hated 9th grade. 10th was okay. 11th sucked. 12th was the best year. I guess because it was a kick back year for me.

Yeah, 12th was pretty good too, but a lot of pressure that year, tests, graduating, etc. It was still a pretty fun year I guess, when I look back, LOL.

We should have extended time for lunch periods, IMO. Usually, the lines are so long that by the time I get lunch, there's only 5 minutes left for eating, it takes me five minutes alone to find a seat. :lol:
