I have a question on the episode: "They Can't Take That Away From Me (Part 2)" (episode 172). Towards the end of the Alex is talking with Elyse and Mallory. Alex asks a question about true love or true happiness and Mallory has a simple answer which Alex suprisingly agrees with. Does anyone know what that simple answer is? Thanks.

I have that one on tape, here's the conversation:

(Mallory knocks and walks into the room where Elyse and Alex are talking)
Mallory: Hey you guys, come on break it up, you've got to go sit down, graduation's starting.
Alex: Can you give us a minute here? We're discussing the meaning of life.
Mallory: (Checking herself in the mirror) Oh, that's easy. Be happy, try not to hurt other people, and hope you fall in love. (Spins around and walks out the door)
Elyse: It sounds good to me
Alex: (Looks amazed)Me too. Considering the source that's truly frightening.

How in HELL would Alex mess up his great relationship with Lauren with that...that...thing? Come on! This is Courtney Cox we're talking about here, man! I was just pissed when I saw this two-parter. He let a successful girl get away from him for someone who looks like...eeewww! I just don't see that, dude. Only in TV.

That's all I have to say on that number.
