Since we are discussing blues music I thought I'd mention one of my favorite blues singers and that is Bonnie Raitt. I first discovered Bonnie Raitt when my mom got me Bonnie's 1991 album Luck Of The Draw for Christmas years ago and that album was my first ever Bonnie Raitt album and I fell in love with Bonnie's awesome powerhouse sound and based on liking that album I got two other Bonnie Raitt albums and my favorite Bonnie Raitt album is her 1989 album Nick Of Time because that's an album that really shows Bonnie Raitt at her best. I had no idea that she has been singing since the 70's and Bonnie still has her awesome powerhouse sound today and she might be a role model for female blues singers today
