I'm having to get a roomate cause this chica can't keep rent up by herself... anyways... i've got this friend Brian who needs a place to stay, he's got a steady job, and he's willing to pay half the rent. I've got 2 bedrooms, so it's not like we'd be sleeping together... we're just friends... nothing's there... so my question is.. do you think it's ok for me to have a guy roomate?

I think its just fine. Considering most of my friends are guys Id think it would be a lot easier to live with one of them than have a girl as a roommate.
I'd just say to make sure that you both know the rules and bounderies and such before he moves in so you know you're both on the same page about the new living arrangements.

Do whatever you think is best. If you are friends with this guy and you know he is gonna keep up half of the bargain with the rent, I say go for it.

Yeah, just make sure he isn't some pervert who would try to get you alone and ****, hm every guy is like that but I mean like make sure that you can trust him. Otherwise I think it's perfectly fine.
